Strong families are the lifeblood and foundation of a functioning community and good society. However, there is precious little being done to develop, let alone implement, pro-family policies. As the father of five adult children and grandfather of six grandchildren (with one in the oven), Lange has consistently advocated for progressive family policy designed to alleviate the enormous burdens and challenges families with children have. He supports fully paid maternity/paternity/family leaves for all working parents, regardless of the size of their employer's business. As the husband of a professional educator who has devoted much of her adult life to enhance the quality and affordability of childcare in Ohio, Lange knows the enormous value of quality early childhood education and calls for massive investment in the education of young children.
